In September – October 2015, I completed a fantastic cycling trip through Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, taking in such wonderful sights as Angkor Wat, Phnom Penh, the Mekong Delta, Ho Chi Minh City and rural Thailand along the way.
Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be posting a series of blogs and photos from that fantastic trip, looking at the history, geography, natural, social and economic make-up of those fascinating countries, with some other things that took my fancy along the way.
The trip was organised by the Melbourne office of Exodus Travel, which I have used for cycling and walking trips previously in South Africa and France.
Here’s more about the trip itinerary. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it, cycling is a great way to see these countries and isn’t too laborious, despite the heat and occasionally chaotic roads.
